This site is dedicated to the memory of Cath.
Catherine Dolan was born in Park House Nursing Home, Crosby on May 05, 1950. She spent her early life surrounded by her large family in Formby, before moving to London to further her studies. Cath travelled to Spain with her best friend Liz, where she fell in love with the culture and language. Cath lived and worked in Spain for 6 years before returning to London where she met her husband Joe. Cath worked as a teacher and in later life as a translator and interpreter, reflecting her love of languages. Cath was a mother to three daughters, Jamie, Mary and Jenny. Cath sadly passed away on the 13th January after suffering from Motor Neurone Disease for 3 years. All of Cath's family and friends love and miss her dearly.

I found this snippet of a poem that seemed just right to go with the photo of Cath in January 2008 lost in thought and gazing out at Sierra Nevada from her beloved Alhambra:
